N9NE Group Co-Founder Scott DeGraff Dead Of Apparent Suicide

ASPEN, Colorado (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Restaurateur and nightclub owner Scott DeGraff was found dead of an apparent suicide at his Aspen home. He was 47 at the time of his death.

According to authorities, DeGraff's body was found in the garage of his home on Thanskgiving Day and the Pitkin County, Colo., coroner's office determined the cause of death to be carbon monoxide poisoning and asphyxia.

DeGraff and his business partner Michael Morton co-founded the N9NE Group, which operates restaurants and nightclubs in Las Vegas, Chicago and Dallas. Among the clubs launched by DeGraff and N9NE are Chicago's N9NE, and The Ghostbar in Chicago; Rain Nightclub, Ghostbar, N9NE Steakhouse, and Skin Pool Lounge, Moon Night Club, & The Playboy club in Las Vegas and Ghostbar in Dallas.

According to the Aspen Daily News, DeGraff moved to Aspen in 2008 and started making moves to open several restaurants and clubs in the area but ran into financial challenges. The Aspen Daily News reported that DeGraff was evicted from several properties he had been developing businesses in, had incurred substantial debts with several construction companies and had declared bankruptcy in September. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
